Hanazono and Hirafu have now both announced they will delay opening tomorrow, but it was a close call with bottom lifts at Niseko Village, Annupuri and Moiwa scheduled to open as planned. Snow is coming down pretty hard now with about 16cm in the past 24 hours, and from the look of the Niseko weather forecast, it is set to last with cold temperatures persisting.
