The time has begun to start publishing Niseko snow reports for the winter season 2022! Japan Ski Experience Snow Station is located 176m above sea level in Kutchan Town, a 10 minute drive from Niseko Grand Hirafu and Hanazono ski resorts.
November was something of a start stop month. Mid-November delivered, only to melt and we were left in suspense waiting to see when it would all start back up again.

But it didn’t last long…

Today on the 1st December, we have been treated with more great snowfall. Sadly it’s arrived too late for Hanazono who have just postponed their opening date from 3rd December, but all is not lost. Other Niseko resorts including Grand Hirafu are waiting to announce what will happen, and that depends on the snow! A lot of it is coming down and blowing around outside right now, and we’re hoping that what didn’t fall over the past weeks has been saved up for an epic start to December, which judging from the Niseko weather forecast, is about to happen! With only one great dump needed to really kick things off, watch this space!
