It is the first weekend for skiers and snowboarders on the mountain today, and we are pleased to report lots of happy smiling faces. It is too early in the Japan ski season for off-piste skiing or snowboarding yet; plans to get into the deep are best kept for January, but the layer of fresh snow on the runs is exactly what early season Niseko visitors would have hoped for.
