Hakuba Iwatake New Gondola
Hakuba Iwatake is not letting anything set it back. After the stunning Hakuba Mountain Harbour put Iwatake on the map in 2018, it is continuing a much deserved rise to prominence among international skiers and snowboarders. This month Iwatake announced it is working on a new gondola for December 2024. Compared with the existing gondola, it will offer a faster, quieter, far more comfortable ride, greater wind resistance, the chance to carry skis and snowboards inside and will have higher capacity, ensuring minimum queue time. This new improved lift infrastructure will be a great addition in helping to open Iwatake’s incredible slopes to visitors from all over the world.
