It is snowy and blustery here in Niseko, with 24cm of new snow to report at our station in Kutchan, after a couple of days when no fresh snowfall was recorded. It started snowing late last night and didn’t stop by the looks of the measuring stick this morning. The one downside is the wind which is currently strong and likely to affect lift operations.

Looking back down from the top of the highest lift on the Niseko map – the infamous pizza box aka King Lift 4
Not the best conditions for hiking but the run down from the peak of Mt. Niseko Annupuri is definitely worth the effort!
