Hakuba Group Lessons
Group lessons are a great way to get introduced to skiing and snowboarding or to hone some already developed skills, in a fun and safe learning environment. There are some fantastic ski schools in Hakuba, and Japan Ski Experience works with the most qualified and experienced instructors to provide you with the best and most convenient group lessons in Hakuba.
Evergreen International Ski School
Evergreen Hakuba offers single or multi-day ski and snowboard lessons for all levels of skiers and boarders. If you prefer a Happo One ski school for convenient access from your Wadano or Happo accommodation, then Evergreen is a great choice. Their adult and children’s programs are designed for all skill levels, and lessons operate out of Hakuba Happo One resort, a short walk from Happo Village and Wadano. Evergreen Tsugaike also operates out of Hakuba Tsukaige resort for those staying nearby.

Location: Happo-One, EISS Base located at the Base of Kokusai 1 Chair Lift
Adult Ski and Snowboard Group Lessons
- Dates available: 20 Dec 2025 – 8 Mar 26 (except 1 Jan 2026)
- 2 lesson types:
- Morning lesson (2.5 hours, start 10:00)
- Full day lesson (5.5 hours with lunch break, start 10:00)
Children’s Ski and Snowboard Group Lessons (3-14 yrs)
- Dates available: 13 Dec 2025 – 8 Mar 26 (except 1 Jan 2026)
- 2 lesson types:
- Morning lesson (3.5 hours with lunch break, start 10:00)
- Full day lesson (5.5 hours with lunch break, start 10:00)
Lessons do not include ski passes or equipment. Participants will be grouped based on ability level.

Hakuba Private Lessons
Hakuba Ski Concierge provides the highest level of private ski and snowboard lessons in Hakuba. Their experienced and passionate instructors ensure you maximize every minute on the slopes. Whether you’re wanting to master the moguls or it’s your first day on skis – Hakuba Ski Concierge staff will instruct in a way that suits your learning style and deliver a memorable and highly productive lesson, providing a premier private ski and snowboard lesson.

Meet at the Mountain Private Lesson
Lessons start and finish at Hakuba47 Ski Resort. Participants will meet their instructor at the base of the Hakuba47 Gondola. Lessons can be shared by groups of up to 5 people of the same ability level.

- Full day private (09:30 – 15:30) – ¥80,000
- Half day private (09:30 – 12:00 / 13:00 – 15:30) – ¥45,000
- Hakuba47 Ski Week (5 days over a 6 day period) – ¥340,000
Full Service Signature Private Lesson
