GAKUTO VILLAS HAKUBA LOCATION

 

Gakuto Villas Hakuba are ideally located in central Wadano, Hakuba’s most popular accommodation district, with immediate access to public ski shuttle stops, located just outside its doorsteps. Gakuto Villas is situated right at the base of Happo One, the largest of Hakuba Valley’s 10 ski areas. Central Wadano has it all, with world-class skiing and a fantastic selection of restaurants, bars, shops, cafes, rental stores and onsen hot-springs are all on the doorstep. The Wadano Visitor Centre is located at the heart of this area, and is home to Rhythm rental store and the departure point for the Japanese Snow Monkey Onsen Tour. From Central Wadano, it is a short walk to the winding streets of Happo village, where you’ll find a large array of restaurants and bars to enjoy. Central Wadano also offers the closest possible access the Evergreen International Ski School, located at the Kokusai lift at Happo One, so is an ideal base for families and those taking ski lessons in Hakuba.  Other resorts in the Hakuba Valley can be accessed easily via the free shuttle buses which stop in various locations throughout Central Wadano.

Good accommodation with heated floors especially in the bathroom. Water pressure is great but the road in front of the villa could have clear the snow better during heavy snow time. I had great time there.

These villas were everything we’d imagined on our first ever family ski holiday. The villa was clean and very spacious for a family of 4 adults. Our view every morning was absolutely beautiful and so picturesque. We loved our time here.

Spacious and high quality stay! You need to take the bus to the slopes, and the buses are very small (and slippery), but you get used to it. If something could improve is the lighting in the house that in the living room and master bedroom was too much dental clinic inspired with it's bright white light. But the size and quality of the stay was really 10/10.

Having best experience skiing and staying at Gakuto Villas. The accommodation is clean and spacious. Good for 4 to 6 people in a villa. Staffs are nice and very helpful. The location is just right in the middle of many popular restaurant and Happone Ski area. Enjoy it very much!

Absolutely gorgeous accommodation. The villa was luxurious and well appointed. The view from the living area was spectacular. It had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The location was superb . Close to lifts and restaurants. Highly recommended.

During our stay, the Gakuto Villa staff provided transfers to various eating/shopping places and helped in every way to make it a great holiday for the family. We’re all extremely happy with the villa with it’s close proximity to the ski resort and excellent amenities provided.

The villa was well maintained and all staff at the reception were very efficient. The staff helped in making restaurant reservations, drove us to the supermarket and even to dinner locations! The bus stop conveniently located in front of the villas also had shuttle buses that took us to and back from the various ski slopes.
