  • Niseko Snow Report 2nd December 2021

Welcome to the first JSE Niseko Snow Report of the 2021-22 winter season! We are currently experiencing a big storm system which hit us yesterday and deposited a very generous 13cm of fresh snowfall overnight. While none of the Niseko ski resorts have commenced operations yet, all that is about to change with Niseko Village set to open tomorrow, 3rd December, closely followed by Niseko Hirafu, Hanazono and Annupuri, plus Niseko Moiwa, opening the next day on Saturday 4th December.

We suggest Niseko Hanazono will be the place to be on the 4th December, as they unveil not one, but two new ski lifts, as well as a new beginner ski run, Colly’s Folly. With the opening of the fantastic new Hanazono Symphony Gondola, as well as the upgrading of Hanazono 1 from a four to a six-seater chair, access to the slopes for everyone will become quicker and more comfortable.
