12cm of new snow has fallen and been recorded since yesterday with a temperature of -2ºc at 8:30am this morning. After a warm weekend with very little snowfall it looks like the week ahead will see a return to winter conditions across the Niseko ski resorts. The snow is forecast to be heaviest from Tuesday to Thursday with a break on Friday before a lot more falls at the weekend. With temperatures staying below zero all indications are that early March will offer excellent conditions for skiers and snowboarders in Niseko and across northern Japan.
Winter shows no signs of slowing down and making way for spring in Niseko Hirafu.
