7cm of snowfall has been recorded in 24 hours although this doesn’t tell the whole story. Strong winds continued throughout the day and night yesterday so while the JSE snow station only held on to 7cm, more protected areas nearby received more than double this amount. It is a cold morning. -7c at 8am and the same weather pattern is persisting which means cold and windy in the resort but with plenty of snow to play with!

With temperatures at the weekend falling to -15 on the mountain and moderate to heavy snow forecasted, we look forward to more deep powder ahead of the festive season!
