20cm of new snow has fallen in the last 24 hours and the temperature at 8am was -8ºc. After a few wild and windy days with a little less snow than hoped, January is ending with a bang! 20cm of light, fresh powder snow down low should mean a whole lot more higher up in the Niseko ski resort areas. It will be a little warmer tomorrow but the temperatures are meant to plummet for the rest of the week and snow is forecast to fall every day.
A very welcome 20cm of fresh powder to end the month of Japanuary!
Japanuary finishes off with a flourish in Niseko!
