  • Niseko Snow Report 8th January 2022

12cm of very light, dry powder snow has fallen since yesterday and the temperature at 8am this morning was -5c. The quality of snow falling recently has been outstanding, pure Niseko champagne powder! After a stunning bluebird day yesterday which provided perfect conditions for hiking, normal service was resumed overnight with a very healthy top up of fresh snow. The wind shouldn’t be too strong over the next few days so conditions for skiing and snowboarding are expected to be optimal.

Yesterday was one of the best days of the season so far in terms of offering superb views all across the Niseko ski resort area and providing excellent hiking opportunities.
