The Niseko ski resort area continues to receive nonstop snowfall with 27cm of new snow having been recorded since yesterday. The temperature at 8am this morning was a chilly -6c. We feel confident in saying take your pick today – whether you head to Niseko Moiwa for the opening of the quad lift or choose Hanazono to ride the new ski lifts, or any of the Niseko ski resorts in between, this is one of those days when you can pretty much guarantee a good time for all skiers and snowboarders, especially the powder hounds!
20cm+ in 24 hours yet again with no sign of the snow stopping this week!
Based on trusted forecasts it looks like we can expect a lot of snowfall this week – we’re going to suggest 10-30cm each day – with the heaviest snowfalls expected Tuesday & Wednesday. Dreams of a white Christmas have quickly become a reality!
