  • Niseko Powder Report 28th December 2020

11cm of new snow fell in 24 hours and the temperature at 7:30am was -5ºc. Consistent cold temperatures mean light, dry snow and we woke up to lots of light, dry snow this morning. It makes it easier to clear the car and the steps to the house but, more importantly, light, dry snow offers the best conditions for skiing and snowboarding and would have been on every powder hound’s Christmas list!

ight, dry powder snow falling over Edge Restaurant & Bar in Hanazono Niseko yesterday afternoon.
The JSE Niseko Powder Report is new for Winter 2020-21 so keep checking in with us for daily updates! Our snow station is located in Niseko Hirafu at an elevation of 210m above sea level. For a well established snow report in a different Niseko location we recommend comparing snowfall readings with 360niseko.

Don’t miss out! Register your interest in 2024-25 now, and we will be in touch when bookings open.
