- Day Pass – Unlimited lift access from resort opening until close, including night skiing when operating. Ideal for guests planning full days on the mountain
- 5-Hour Pass – Valid for 5 consecutive hours from the first gate scan
- 25-Hour Pass – Time-based lift pass that deducts one hour at a time and can be used flexibly across multiple days. A good option if you plan shorter ski sessions, lessons, or breaks
- Point Pass – Point-per-ride access. Best for beginners, first-time skiers, or guests skiing only a few runs per day
- Night Pass – Access to night skiing from 4PM until 7:45PM. Ideal for guests skiing after daytime activities or lessons
Epic Pass
Rusutsu is included in the Epic Pass. To get your lift tickets, show your physical Epic Pass card and valid photo ID at any Rusutsu ticket window to receive lift tickets valid for five consecutive days.
- Valid for 5 consecutive days from first use at Rusutsu Resort
- Issued to the Epic Pass holder only and is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be reissued

Frequently Asked Questions
What type of pass should I buy?
Most guests choose a Day Pass for unlimited access to the resort from day to night. Guests skiing shorter sessions across multiple days may prefer a 25-Hour Pass.
Should I pre-book lift passes or buy them on the day?
Pre-booking online is recommended. It allows you to skip ticket queues and receive a discount for purchasing online.
Are there discounted lift passes for children?
Yes. Child pricing applies as follows:
- Ages 4–12: ¥8,000 per day
- Age 3 and under: free
Are Rusutsu lift passes refundable?
No. Once purchased, lift passes cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded.
Do Rusutsu Day Passes include night skiing?
Yes. Day Passes are valid from resort opening until close.
If I buy a multi day Rusutsu lift pass, do I have to use it on consecutive days?
Yes. Multi-day passes must be used on consecutive days and remain valid until lifts close on the final day.
