For a lot of visitors, having ski in ski out access to the slopes is at the top of the list of priorities when choosing the perfect Niseko hotel, chalet or apartment. For those with young families, or those who simply want the ultimate in convenience, there is nothing quite like being able to step out your front door and have immediate access to the lifts. As Niseko weather is particularly renowned for its extreme snowfall, the idea of avoiding battles with snow on the streets and skiing straight onto the mountain can seem rather appealing! While Niseko resort doesn’t have an abundance of ski-in-ski-out hotels or chalets, between the two main accommodation areas, there are over a dozen to choose from.
We have put together this guide to help you decide which Niseko ski in ski out accommodation is right for you and your group, and can help you book it together with the services you need to create your perfect Niseko ski holiday package.
First, you need to choose the Niseko resort area in which you want to be based. The two main accommodation areas are Hirafu (Grand Hirafu Ski Resort) and Niseko Village (Niseko Village Ski Resort). Both resorts are part of the same interconnected Niseko United ski area.
Niseko Grand Hirafu Ski-in-Ski-out Accommodation
Hirafu Village – which sits at the base of Niseko Grand Hirafu Resort – is the largest Niseko accommodation area, with hundreds of different options ranging from boutique-style hotels to luxury apartments to chic ski chalets, to modern townhouses. Niseko’s Hirafu Village has plenty of things to do, offering a wide range of different types of restaurants, cafes and retail, more than anyone could experience during a single stay. The compact village is very walkable, and most amenities are easily accessible.
The Vale Niseko
Perhaps one of the most famous ski in ski out Niseko accommodations, The Vale Niseko is situated at the foot of the Ace Family chairlift and offers studios, 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments for those who want to be right on the slopes. Some of The Vale’s 3 & 4 bedroom apartments feature in-room private onsens, a real treat when visiting Niseko. The Vale is located in square D2 of Hirafu Village map.

Niseko Alpine Apartments
Another slightly smaller complex, Niseko Alpine Apartments offers both 2 & 3 bedroom apartments options for small groups and families.
