The Setsumon Niseko apartments are right in the heart of Upper Hirafu Village on the hill up to the main Hirafu Mountain Base. The apartments are 6 minutes walk to the lifts of Grand Hirafu and only 4 minute walk to the Niseko United shuttle stop to take you to other Niseko resorts. The Setsumon Niseko is right amongst the main shopping and dining area of the village. Just 2 buildings down is Rhythm Snowsports, one of Niseko’s most popular equipment and retail shop. Within a 5 minute walking radius of The Setsumon, there is also a large selection of restaurants serving Western and authentic Japanese cuisine. With a one minute stroll to the ski lifts, world famous dining at your doorstep and onsens around the corner, guests staying at The Setsumon will find everything they need and more within easy reach.

Awesome - there were 6 of us - our 2 kids and their partners + us. My wife and I got our own studio connected to the 2 bed apartment which worked out so well - we were able to chill out in our own space and leave the kids in theirs. Its sooo convenient as well with a short walk to Family Chair + in the middle of all the shops. Have stayed at Setsumon twice now and its prob our spot - good location, $'s are value for money and super quality. Tom the concierge was awesome as well - he could not do enough for us and was such a great person to speak to. Thanks so much!

Good location - the room was clean and spacious (honestly probably the biggest room I've ever stayed in in Japan). They mentioned that there were locks for the ski closets but the front desk staff was not aware of these keys and never got them.

Overall, the experience was great. Fast response before and during my stay whenever I have questions. One additional thing is my friend had a personal package to be delivered and the staff were super helpful in providing details for delivery. The apartment was well kept except I noticed some cutlery wasn’t clean. We stayed at the studio with two single beds. The only thing was with the shower, where you can’t have the water ran too strong as it would make the area outside the shower wet. One last thing to improve the experience was pickup. My shuttle bus arrived 15 min late at the welcome center and my driver left. It was late at night at 9ish pm and I was a bit helpless to figure out how to get to the apartment with two suitcases. Glad that my contact was reachable via email and quickly asked the driver to come back to pick up. It will be much appreciated if the driver didn’t leave just because the shuttle was late.

Ideal location and premium accommodation with all the mod cons. Right in the heart of Niseko and the rooms we have occupied in the last couple of years have been very good quality.

The location was good and the staff was nice, but their cleanliness was just soso. They mentioned that there's cleaning every 2 days, but they only came and threw out the trash and changed the towels on both days. The bathroom doesn't seem like it's been cleaned. The bedsheets on one day were not well tucked in, the blanket was just covering the bed and that's it.

Nice apartment, good location, narrow and treacherous steps in and out of the apartment. We had 2 rooms and requested to have 1 room for a late check out wasn't met. Not much of a after service however the Receptionist was very friendly and helpful putting a smile on our face each time going up and down the steep stairs.
