  • Niseko Snow Report 31st December 2021

Another double digit snowfall in Niseko – 15cm has been recorded since yesterday – means that we bring the year to a close having already received more than 4 metres of snow during the 2020-21 ski season! Bearing in mind the Japan Ski Experience snow station is located well below the 256m Niseko Hirafu base station, we can guarantee that vast amounts more of fresh powder has fallen across the Niseko United ski resorts so far this winter. Better still the Niseko snow forecast shows no sign of slowing down with heavy snow predicted to fall throughout the first week of 2022!

Yet another classic overnight snowfall has blanketed the Niseko area to ensure skiers and snowboarders can celebrate the New Year with deep powder turns!
Don’t forget to bookmark the JSE Snow Report and follow us on Instagram to keep up to date with what is happening in Niseko, Hakuba and beyond this winter!
Total accumulated snowfall for winter season 2021-22: 401cm
*November 2021: 110cm
**December 2021: 291cm so far
