  • Niseko Snow Report 18th December 2021

18cm of new snowfall has been recorded since yesterday and the temperature at 8am was a chilly -9c. Light fresh snow means go go go! We will be heading to Niseko Moiwa this morning but all Niseko resort areas will offer excellent conditions with 30cm+ expected to have fallen above village level.

Tonight is also the first day for night skiing for the 2021-22 winter. Night skiing in Niseko is a very special experience and with snow forecast to fall throughout the day today you can anticipate a great start to the Niseko ‘nighta’ season.

Please bookmark the JSE Snow Report and follow us on Instagram to keep up to date with what is happening in Niseko, Hakuba and beyond this winter!

Total accumulated snowfall for the Niseko winter season 2021-22: 200cm

*November 2021: 110cm
