Hakuba is home to a wide selection of excellent restaurants, cafes and bars. With so many fantastic Hakuba restaurants serving up delicious and varied cuisine, it is very difficult to narrow the options down… There are a number of popular Hakuba accommodation bases and Hakuba restaurants have tended to spring up in these areas, in particular Hakuba Echoland, Wadano no Mori and Happo Village.     Koharu Resort Hotel & Suites building, Wadano

    Located on the ground floor of the Hakuba Koharu Resort building, Hybrid Hakuba restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. Start the day with a lovely choice of petit breads, bacon, eggs, granola, yogurt, fruit and coffees. Dinner features charcoal grilled meats and fish, using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. Hakuba pork along with Wagyu and salmon from the Nagano region feature. Headed by a rising star of the Hakuba restaurant scene, Hybrid promises to be one of the best restaurants in Hakuba!

  • The Rabbit Hole Breakfast, Burgers & Western bar food

    Upper Wadano

    Hakuba’s ultimate hipster hang out! Located right at the bottom of the Sakka slopes, The Rabbit Hotel is a large cafe / bar and the perfect place to meet friends. A great spot for coffee, drinks and their famous burgers. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. As well as being a great Hakuba restaurant The Rabbit Hole features music most evenings, with a young and lively vibe.

    Conveniently located at the bottom of the Kokusai slope at Happo One on the ground floor of the Mountain Side Hakuba building, LUCE is open for lunch and dinner. Stop by for coffee and a light lunch meal at this stylish and cosy spot, while skiing at Happo One. A new Hakuba restaurant for 2023 winter season, LUCE is offering a Japanese-Italian fusion course menu in the evening from January onwards.

  • Mimi's Restaurant & Bar Modern fine-dining

    Phoenix Hotel, central Wadano

    Mimi’s restaurant at the Phoenix Hotel Hakuba offers a contemporary fine dining experience like no other. Expect modern cuisine, top-class local ingredients, exceptional service, sophisticated ambience and an impressive wine list.     Blizzard is a trendy centrally located Hakuba restaurant and bar serving up wood-fired pizzas.   • Sanpachi Shoten Galette and daily specials

    Happo village, close to Lawsons store

    A fantastic lunch option where you can relax in a beautiful space, enjoy great food and soak up the mountain views. Having only opened a few years back, this restaurant instantly became a hit. Serving a variety of buckwheat galette and daily specials, including vegetarian and vegan options, Sanpachi Shoten offers a tasty and wholesome lunchtime dining experience.
