Hakuba Solar Chalets are located in a quiet part of the upper Wadano neighborhood, one of Hakuba’s most popular locations. With excellent easy walking distance to the spectacular slopes of Happo One, here you will also find a nice selection of restaurants, bars and other amenities, including Central Snowsports rental shop and the wonderful Azekura onsen, which is available to rent privately. Upper Wadano sits at the base of Happo One, the largest of Hakuba’s 10 ski areas. This location offers unparalleled access to the Happo One ski lifts at the Sakka base area, which is ideal for beginners and experts alike. With wide and gentle beginner slopes, a kids snow park and easy access to the Evergreen International Ski School, Upper Wadano is an ideal location for families. For more advanced skiers, the Sakka lift base area offers quick and easy access to Happo One’s upper slopes via the high speed Sakka quad lift. Other resorts in the Hakuba Valley can be accessed easily via the free shuttle buses which stop in various locations throughout Upper Wadano. The nearest ski lift access point are the Sakka chair lifts, located just a 2 minute walk away. The Kokusai lift point and ADAM Gondola Station are just 2-5 minutes away by car. Various shuttles for accessing other resort areas are also within 1-5 minute walking distance from the chalets. Solar Chalet guests will also receive complimentary scheduled shuttles to select lifts, the Happo Bus Terminal and Hakuba Station, daily supermarket shuttles, as well as shuttle service to Hakuba Hospitality Group Restaurants.
