Upper Wadano sits at the base of Happo One, the largest of Hakuba’s ski areas. This location offers unparalleled access to the Happo One ski lifts at the Sakka base area, which is ideal for beginners and experts alike. With wide and gentle beginner slopes, a kids snow park and easy access to the Evergreen International Ski School, Upper Wadano is an ideal location for families. For more advanced skiers, the Sakka lift base area offers quick and easy access to Happo One’s upper slopes via the high speed Sakka quad lift. Hachi Hakuba guests will also benefit from private shuttle service to other Hakuba area resorts, rental shop, onsens, supermarket, and transit hubs.
